Book of Dreams "lift"

Sorry for the confusion folks on what week we're on for the Book of Days. Each "week" starts on Wednesday with a new technique. So we're still working on week one, pockets. It looks like some of you have been working and posting your work for week two. It's so fun to see such enthusiastic artists:) By all means go ahead and create if you want to get started. In my last post I mentioned we'd be freestylin'. I meant that in a general sense and do have a new technique in mind with some fun ideas to try. I'm going to keep them a secret until Wednesday:) I am going to post this layout which is in my Book of Dreams, because the tissue flower was inspired by Ashley C.'s adorable layout in the Freestyle book. The blog challenge for last week was "lifting" a layout. The challenge ends today, so I thought I'd share it.
Keep posting your Book of Dreams art and let us know what you've done. I am so inspired by your art!!! We'll see you back here on Wednesday for some fun stuff to try.

  4. I almost bought a tissue paper flower kit while shopping for my book to alter! :) Then I decided to make my own, so we're in synch here!

But I have a question. What is a lift? I went to the link, but didn't see an explanation. You can post a blog entry explaining it so we can all know if you like! Thanks!

  7. Everyones pages loook great! Lots of good inspiration. I tried, but didn't quite get my page done this week. I know, I know - I had a whole week. My little two month old had something to do with it. And I am out of town and of course forget some of the stuff I wanted to use on the page. So this next week I will post my pockets along with the new technique.

  10. So beautiful!

I recently made a commitment not to take on one more thing until some projects are finished. Your beautiful idea almost made me break that! I'm fully anticipating coming back and starting at the beginning and working through it in my own time. What a great idea! Thank you for doing it.
