Happy Independence Day!!
Check out Anahata's post today with her own twist on Independence Day....love it!!!!
I'm heading out on a family trip in a couple of days. We'll have plenty of time in the car, I'm looking for some book suggestions!!
I think I'm going to bring this one along. Sounds great and was highly recommended by Anahata as a crazy, funny book:) I'm very intrigued with Indian culture and the spiritual experience.
I think I'll bring this one too called Seeing Past Z. I'm in the middle of it now. Awesome book about nurturing the imagination and creativity.
I'd love to hear more! Thanks:)
I'd love to hear more! Thanks:)
are those roses from your yard? how pretty!
ReplyDeleteI recommend Suburban Safari by Hannah Holmes. It's hard to believe a book about someone's back yard could be so fascinating but it really is! Granted, I'm stuck on the part about the lawn - it's a little ho-hum but still well written - but I know that once I get past that it'll rock again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure trove of good stuff you have here on your blog Artsy Mama! Just read your past few posts and am going back to re-read and follow the links. Very cool! I am finally getting excited about something for the first time in a while!
ReplyDeleteThanx!
oops! Forgot to say that those roses are gorgeous!

i just love visiting your blog and seeing all that's new and going on...books - i just did a little post on two that i bought. just finished this morning "the secret history of the pink carnation" chic-lit for sure, but a fun, light, quick read for the hopeless romantic in me. i can't wait to start "the time traveler's wife" when i mention it to friends they all say it's one of their all time faves. have a great vaca, can't wait to hear about your adventures!
