Maybe that's my true calling.. hehe! I had so much fun putting together a box full of vintage goodies for Rosalyn-Sue for a custom order. The thrill of the hunt along with coordinating everything together is wonderfully fun. Here's a peek at some of the goodies I found for her. Hope she likes them!
If you had a personal shopper, what would you ask them to look for?

Hello!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great amount of goodies there!
Where I live is not easy to find goodies like these. Most of the time the antique shops around here charge really expensive, speacially vintage jewelry and China. Also, vintage wallpaper is rare to find. I've seen a lot of vintage embroidered fabric and quilts though.
Lucky Rosalyn-Sue! What's not to like! That must've been fun. I love doing that kind of shopping :)
ReplyDeleteThere's no vintage wallpaper around here, although to be fair I haven't exhausted all the venues. Someday I'll start checking out some estate sales and see what I can find!
you have an eye for yummy things!
ReplyDeleteI would ask for you to shop for me! You find the greatest items!

Those are some nice finds! I love the blue cameo!
ReplyDeleteI'd ask for buttons, definately buttons (even though I have about a million already). Vintage shell, pearl, bright green plastic, the gold kind with the lions and shields... oh, buttons!
good job Kari! I swear thats my true calling too. People always ask me to keep my eyes open for stuff. I love it when i find something and suprise them with it. joy!

ohhhh, you're good at this, Kari!!
ReplyDeletewell doesn't THAT look delightful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! I would think that was fun to put together also! Lucky her!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a fun career! What would I have a shopper look for...hmmm. Truthfully, I'm to thrifty to have a personal shopper, I love the thrill of getting a steal LOL! But if money were no object, right now I'm searching for large glass jars for my ever growing collection of ribbons, buttons, embellies, etc... Martha like, but thrifted! Cookie jars, fish bowls, canisters you get the idea.
ReplyDeleteI would love vintage wallpaper & retro cake & cupcake toppers. I think Martha S or Mary E just had an article about those cute vintage, chenille animals that used to be big in the 50's. Cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely things!!!! You must have had fun putting all of those goodies togther.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! You are truly a creative inspiration to us all. Your blog is a joy everyday :o) Nina
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely package. I would love a personal shopper for my groceries, and antique/vintage finds! But I would need someone in the States, like you as we don't have estate sales here like you do!
ReplyDeleteHoly bucket of nuts that stuff is gorgeous! How VERY lucky Rosalyn-Sue is to have Kari on "payroll" for her! You've got a keen eye there, girlie! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy personal shopper would pick up vintage sewing notions, skeleton keys, and uh, marzipan. :-)
If I had a personal shopper I'd ask for everything you have on your blog : ) Yummy treasures. But .... I can't have a personal shopper as I love doing that so much myself.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a talent for it, great bunch of goodies!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Love your goodies! I'm keeping an eye on your etsy stuff. :-) Do you know where I can find (or perhaps I could buy some from your etsy?) of those cute little flowers all different colors? The pretty vintage ones? Love all the inspiration... just beautiful! -Glynda
