Sweet things...

We're slowly getting our groove back here. Thanks for all the well wishes. I wanted to make some of my favorite Thanksgiving "appetizers" with the kids. Almond bark pretzels. Soooo easy and just the sugar rush you need.
Here it looks like Chloe is belting out Christmas carols. She's actually just hamming it up for the camera:)
Gotta pick your fave....
...and examine it thoroughly before taking a bite. She's looking at the pretty side:)
Here they are with lovely lollies I bought from Amy at Silver Bella. Hope you're doing something sweet this weekend!

  1. It's pouring down rain like crazy here in Vancouver. Steve's gone to take our big bunch of recycling to the depot. Brr. I've made some potato soup to warm him up. And look at those pretty pastel treats that you girls have made! A welcome sight for these eyes that have been looking out upon wet grey weather.

    Enjoy your yummies! :)

  2. Doing something sweet. Well, let's see. I'm picking up bones and giant spiders from my front yard, cleaning my garage, and moving heavy furniture. Not so sweet. But maybe I'll go treat myself to a gingerbread latte at Starbucks later tonight.

    Glad you're all feeling better.

Those pretzels look amazing. I'd like to try them. You're inspiring me! I like to refer back to the ME Home Companion from 2005 (December) about the two women who make dipped pretzels and party favors (their company is called Confetti). Your post reminds me of them. Yum!
