I certainly had my cake and ate it too this weekend at Silver Bella! Now to show off the class projects. The above cake was made in Jenny and Aaron's class. The ballerina box on top was given to me by Heather of Speckled Egg. I thought it made a great cake topper for this piece. Thanks, Heather!
This Peace on Earth fabric collage was made in Charlotte Lyons class.
This Magical Glittery Village was made in another of Jenny and Aaron's classes.

ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I started reading it in the middle of the night last fall...my husband and I were in Boston where he was on sabbatical. I am from St. Paul and it felt like a gift from home!
ReplyDeleteI am a former school psychologist and he is a behavioral pediatrician and (I think!!!) medical director of your son's school.I worked with Sheila Merzer ages ago and loved it.
So...your family and work seem very real to me!
My daughter and i make jewelry and do some shows (home show on Saturday..very busy!). I had to quit the school psych because of fibromyalgia.
I just wanted to say thank you for giving me this gift. I love your blog and I love your style. I think I read it from beginning to end last fall and check it often...so I thought I should tell you my story!!!
