I thought I'd give you a weeks worth of eye candy before I leave on vacation with my family. For your viewing pleasure, today I'm going to take you on a little tour of the amazing, whimsical world of Jennifer Murphy (and her company bears and other silly things). You may know her from wonderful work sold at Earth Angel Toys or Bayberry Cove. She has an adorable web site as well. She will be a fellow instructor at the ZNE ConvenZioNE in Pleasanton, Ca in August. Needless to say I was thrilled to get a glimpse into her magically creative studio of vintage loveliness. It was such a pleasure to chat with Jennifer about art and life. She is so full of energy and knowledge. Such an inspiration! As you can see, Jennifer's inspiration board is huge and full of wonderful images. I gifted her today with the bird paper seen on the top left corner of the board, some wallpaper from my kits which she immediately hung up on the cabinet seen in the middle of the photo below and some vintage goodies. She was so excited. It's so fun to give gifts to someone with similar tastes.
On Jennifer's desk....
Vintage inspiration abound.

Her quilts are stunning. What a wonderful color palette.
So many amazing critters...originals, vintage and Jennifer Murphy licensed reproductions.

Her original (on the far right) and licensed reproductions by Seasons of Cannon Falls.
Vintage chenille rolls....swoon!
It all started here with this wonderful little elephant that her mother had on a low shelf in her sewing room. She would pick it up and play with it as a young girl. It was her first vintage treasure.
This is the little mouse she made on the Martha Stewart Show.
Thanks so much for the peek inside your artful endeavors, Jennifer!
Check out this page of her web site for more images of Jennifer's amazing work.
