Bluebell's form a carpet in our neighbors lawn. *Edit: Thanks for the correction, these are actually Scilla siberica, not bluebells. A tromp in the woods and we find clumps... ...then the motherload of blooming bloodroot.
Absolutely stunning!
Blossoms on trees all around.
Ah yes, it's springtime!!!

Sigh. Can I come visit you? We pretty much jump right into Summer here - it was 89 today!
Wow, your pictures are gorgeous. How lucky to have that to look at.
Nancy
pretty! xo
OMG! Love how the pure whiteness contrasts with the brown. I wanna be there!
Oh, they look so gorgeous! I am with Paper Relics - we pretty much go from a mild winter to summer. 88 degrees yesterday and a glorious day at the beach! :) Silke
How lovely! The flower in the 2nd photo looks like Scilla siberica, which is a bit like a bluebell, but much smaller and more delicate. My kids call them "sillies" because when they were little they couldn't quite manage 'scilla."
Yep, Jenn is right. Those are scilla siberica (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scilla_siberica) I just love them. I love how their stems are an indigo blue, and if you dig up the little bulbs, they are too.
Great photos - springtime blossoms are so hopeful.
Beautiful! Great pics.
Beautiful! What a lovely walk through the woods. Thanks for taking us with you!
Beautiful pics, love your blog.

Oooh, I love the bloodroot and magnolia. You've inspired me to get out and take a walk with my camera...I need to get some shots myself!
Gorgeous pix, Kari!
Oh, I love spring too. Your pictures are just beautiful!
Wow!!! I want to live where you live.
Lucky lady.
Have a super week, enjoy the view.

It's all so lovely... I too am feeling the urge to go out and shoot some photos. A digital camera would make that so much easier! Thanks for getting us in the mood... in the last couple of days it has burst into bloom around here.. all the trees are full of color or they are budding out with tiny green leaves... it won't be long and the trees and bushes will be filled with leaves and the thought of spring will have faded and summer will be upon us..
