Perfect day at the patch...

It may still be September, but we found yesterday to be the perfect day to visit the local pumpkin patch. We couldn't believe the volume of pumpkins this year! The fields were still full and there were wagons upon wagons filled to the brim with orange goodness. What a delightful site! enjoy

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. WOW!!!! I am so envious. GORGEOUS!! That is the perfect word to describe the patch. I live in deep south Texas and we don't have something as beautiful. But on the bright side we do have lots of corn fields.

THANK YOU for posting the pics. It was a delight to see.

    Happy Harvest

  5. Hi,

I happen to be searching for creative craft blogs and I stumbled across yours. I love your blog. And I also see that you have a son with Autism as well. I have one who is seven. You are very inspiring!

  9. What a great pumpkin patch! I miss when I lived in Ohio where they also had great Fall venues like this! I live now in Texas and Fall is nonexistent and certainly nothing as beautiful as your outing! Your little girl is just a doll baby too! cutie! Suzie

  11. Oh, I KNOW! We saw tons of pumpkins already down here! I'm in such a mood to empty and carve some. Last year we had a successful Tigger pumpkin, so what can top that this year? To be decided, I'm sure, but definitely will be making at least one trip to a patch to return with some pumpkins! I love living through autumn in the Midwest. It's my most favorite season.

  12. I have joined the Dottie Angel challenge, too, so just dropping in to say hello and good luck. That pumpkin crop is amazing - puts our little patch to shame!

  13. Wonderful photos. I very much admire you for taking on the Dottie Angel challenge. I thought long and hard about it and had to accept that now is not the time for me. Something to work towards I suppose.

  14. Thank you for sharing those pictures from your pumpkin patch. I was able to see that pumpkins have different colors. It was my first time seeing a white pumpkin.
