September= the end of the fair

We went for another round of the state fair before saying good-bye to summer. Lots more kids rides, including Chloe's favorite, the carousel.

Filled our well with inspiration from the creative arts building.

Took in the yummy local colors and flavors.

It sure was fun!
Good-bye fair, until next summer....

  1. Having lived in Minnesota, I remember those State Fairs at the State Fair Grounds in St. Paul. I loved every minute. What a wonderful way to cap off the summer...that is exactly what we used to do also.

  3. Hi Kari,
I love, love the felt penny rug (or is it a quilt?) and the needlepoint...fair season is just beginning here and I can hardly wait. Looks like you had fun riding and poking around.

  4. Oh...sad! I am blocks away and never made it.

Kari, I got the wonderful Halloween book in the mail. Thank you so much! I needed a little cheer-up at the time...it arrived right when I needed it most!

It is so fun to win a prize, isn't it?

  5. Kari I was at our local farmer's market this morning and I thought of you with your gorgeous pictures of produce... ours fell quite short of your great quantities.... I should have brought my camera, but it was a spur of the moment, while we were out idea.
