Visiting santa...

I was working on my December daily pages with photos of the kids with santa from this weekend and remembered that I wanted to share with you some fun retro graphics from a little booklet I found at an estate sale. They were given out at Dayton's departments stores years and years ago. Aren't they fun! Perfect for cards, memory books or mixed media projects. Enjoy!

  1. I miss Dayton's! I have a red and green vintage gift box from them amongst my Christmas decorating props. Always loved the displays (and Santa!) on the downtown store's 8th floor as a kid.

  2. I would have snapped that booklet up in a flash. I love the graphics on the little cardboard sleeves that came with the Santa photos. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Kari thanks for sharing.. I love the look... I got a vintage book when my grandma moved... but i found out it was my aunts and she wanted it for her grandkids... I still have it as it was too large for my scanner... so i need to take it someplace to copy it. Mine was not from a department store however.

    Kari,
Love that Dayton's book. The graphics are too cute. I am sure glad there are others here who have seen the 60's (ahem!)...lol.

  13. These are so fun! Fantastic that you grabbed them before they could go in the recycling (taboo!) It reminds me that I have a book of old postcards that my Nanna gave to me - I'll have to dig them out and see if there are any funky Christmassy ones in there. Funny how your find is making everyone reminisce about vintage stuff they own.

Have a great Christmas from downunder:)
