Kids and snow are like magnets, aren't they?! When the flakes start to fall, out the door they go! When do we lose that enchantment with such a beautiful thing? I guess when we play in it less and drive in it more. The kids and I got out today and enjoyed the big fluffs falling from the sky.
Also more of my daily pages. I'm doing a page-a-day for this entire year. As you can see in these, it's really all about the significance of the everyday, like time with family and realizing the kids are growing up and able to do so much more now. These pages celebrate some of the mini-triumps we've had here lately, like a successful trip to the dentist for Lowell. Thanks to sunglasses and the Ting Ting's on his headphones. Whatever works!
I love your scrapbook style. Its so whimsical.
ReplyDeleteWOW! girl! I am sitting with a pile of photos to scrap on my desk. Your page a day is inspiring me to get my butt in gear! I love your snow page!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of a page a day. No doubt you will be amazed at the rate the kids grow and develop. Love them in the snow

lovely snow photos Kari! love your scrap pages!
ReplyDeleteI think we are catching up with you and the snow... your dentist page is cute... i have never heard of a dentist using sunglasses for kids.. what a neat idea... and listening to music... I can see why Lowell was much happier. My dentists office plays the local radio station...... life really does change when the kids can finally go everywhere with you...
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
Beautiful snow pix! It's lovely when you don't have to drive in it, as you say.
ReplyDeleteGreat scrapbook pages - what a wonderful record of this year you'll have!

Beautiful kid, Kari. And your picture of the snow makes me kind of appreciate this...well...kind of!
ReplyDeleteLove the snow pics, but am so happy I live in Florida! We have a little chill occassionally that we live with.
ReplyDeleteYou have the cutest kids! Adorable.
Love your pages. I have 7 grandchildren and am working on 7 books at once! Three of the older ones have theirs, but the others are work in progress. The older they get, the less "stuff" you have to add! Kids will love these when they are older and can look back.
