berry sweet....

The festivities have begun for this little lady's fifth birthday! Today we had a family party and the weather was perfect. As I've mentioned before, this birthday is all about strawberry shortcake. I thought I'd share some of the fun decor I've put together, old and new, handmade and vintage via my childhood. Not sure who's had more fun with this theme, Chloe or me?! Jessi even made Chloe a custom strawberry shortcake album. Love it!

  2. Did you make those big flower looking decorations that are high up on the wall? So pretty! I grew up in the Strawberry Shortcake Days. Still love that smell.

  13. Hi~
I joined Hope's journaling class and saw you live somewhere in the Minneapolis area. I grew up in Minneapolis, Bloomington area, and am now living south in New Market. Just thought I would introduce myself as we seem to be "neighbors". I haven't had time to do the Flickr thing yet, I am hoping to get that done soon though. I haven't even started on anything as I just keep running around after my kids. I did the Artist Class in which Hope was a contributor so I can't wait!

PS- a quick question, (you are one of the only bloggers I have ever met from my area, so I love that!) But, have you found gel medium anywhere? Michael's and JoAnn's don't have a clue. I haven't tried Dick Blick's yet, I am sure they have it... Hope keeps talking about, and I have been trying to find it for a month or so now... Thanks~
