Here is my last page in my paper bag book before I sent it off to Lilia (Ms. Flea Market Studio) to do the second half. I did this book really fast. Faster than normal. I guess surrounding myself with spring colors while getting dumped on with two feet of snow outside was inspiring! I loved making it. I have posted the pages here over the last week. If you keep scrolling down you'll see them all. Not sure which is my favorite is...maybe signs of spring. What's yours? Here is my little book chock full of spring goodness. Love how chunky it's gotten. That's the fun of these paper bag books. You have lots of pockets where the bag opens and you can stick all kinds of tags and other goodies in there. Can't wait to see what wonderful art Lilia will add to it now:)
Speaking of amazing art...look at what arrived at my doorstep today. Wow!!!
This very sweet bird on canvas is from Natalie. Take a look at this wee little birdy all snuggled up in his nest inside this altered matchbox. This lovely piece is by Jeanne. Love them both. Thanks ladies!!
Love what you`ve done with the book!!!
ReplyDeleteCan`t wait to see the finished product
Kari, I'm so glad you liked the little bird box. Figured you could use a little touch of spring after all that snow you got. By the way, your paperbag book is absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful things. The little birdie in the box is very magical indeed.

ReplyDeleteKari,
ReplyDeleteThe book is really cool. My favourite is the last one, with the zipper. I like how all the flowers are coming out. Definitely spring like!
All your swaps are so neat too! Did you notice almost all of them have birds on them? Funny.
Just to let you know that I have the last page up for cabinet of curiousities. Thanks for a great time!

ReplyDeleteAll of this is SO gorgeous! Your page and then all that amazing art you're getting! Yum!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally love your bag book! I love every page, but I think the zipper page is my favorite (what a great idea!), and all those flowered tags sticking out. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the framed collages and you did a great job spring cleaning. Isn't it wonderful that we can spring forward 3 weeks early this year?
ReplyDeleteStunning book!!
ReplyDeleteThat book is gorgeous. I would really like to make something like that - I'm not the craftiest person, but would really like to be. I have never even attempted anything like that, but you have inspired me. Is there a place you normally go to get your craft items?
