The goods....

Happy Monday!!! I did some spring cleaning this weekend. The sun was shining and the sky was blue, the weather was mild (in the 30's!) and the snow was so bright it glowed. So I felt the spring cleaning bug coming on. I started with my very unconventional, but works for me, "studio space" aka our dining room. I have shown this area many times in the past. I am constantly redecorating and reorganizing it. Since I just finished up a project, I thought I'd clean up a bit, go through all my stuff and put things out in the open that I use often. Since if they're out of sight, they tend to be out of mind. I like keeping things out, but since this is a high traffic area, I need to make them visually appealing. I love these new mixing bowls I got in the dollar section of Target (ok, they were $2.50...for 2 bowls!!) Also just got this ginormous glass canister for all my ribbon. The cake boxes are handy too, since they look cute and provide great storage! The rest is all stashed in the dresser below. I love seeing peoples studio space, if you've posted an entry on your blog or have flickr photos of your studio, please leave a link in the comments. Thanks! Have a great day!!

  1. Hello, Thank You for visiting my blog and commenting on my pictures. You are the first "non-family" person to comment and so I would like to send you a small gift to show my appretiation and joy. Please let me know the details if this is ok with you. Thank You. I work in my kitchen but will be moving to the dining room with my daughter soon. (the basement has spiders). Your space to create is beautiful and will be an inspiration for us. Look forward to hearing from you.

Tantalizing! As inviting as bakery cases piled high with pastel confections. Yummy.

  6. First thanks for the comment on my new pixies! Love your work space, mine is a work in progress! It always is because I'm such a perfectionist and yet, very messy when I work! One day I will post pix of it though.

Very springy. I went through stacks of paper that have piled up. I threw out about 95% of it. WOW, that's a good feeling!

    Hi,
I came here from the Artfest yahoo group. I have seen your blog before, but came by again. Your workspace is just lovely! It does make me feel like it is spring. I have photos of my studio on my blog, left hand side. I love it, but it is pretty messy. I also have been working in the garage because of spray sealer on my fatbook pages, and also soldering charms for the charm swap. Will keep my eyes out for your red hair at Artfest, and I'll say "HI".
