I'm back from a whirlwind weekend out east! I left Friday morning and headed to Boston. Then took a bus down to Cape Cod to meet dear Melanie. We hit it off right away and had a wonderful evening with her family, friends and many artsy blogger gals at her in-laws gorgeous Cape Cod home. It was so much fun! Here we are:) Bright and early Saturday morning we headed to the hotel where the Creative Bazaar took place. Here was my table set up with fall goodies! I just updated my etsy shop with my fall collection. EVERYTHING is on sale! I will ship all items out next day. This is the last you will see of these items, so get them before they disappear! The day was spent with many wonderful people. I met amazing artists, bloggers, friends and fans. We all connected so well:) Here is Heidi of Birds of a Feather. Her goodies are as gorgeous as ever! Jess of jetfuel came by to say hello on her birthday. It was so wonderful to chat with her and hear about her creative ideas:)Mary Ann from Follow your Bliss was such a sweetheart. It was really fun getting to know her and her vintage, whimsical goodies are absolutely wonderful. Melissa came by from Yummy Goods and she was such a dear! She stayed for over 4 hours and chatted with us all. She is fabulously creative and super sweet:) Below is Melanie with her gorgeous work. Also LOVED Ursula and Olive's retro goodies galore!
Jess from Junque Revival was fun to meet. She brought the most amazing jewelry. Check out her site! Karen from Simply June was also there with cute, cute stuff!!

After spending the day in Cape Cod absorbing all this creative bliss, my friend Cheryl picked me up and we headed up to Boston. We got very, very lost and finally made it to our hotel late Saturday night. We woke up refreshed and ready to head to Salem!!
Tons of fun Halloween inspiration in this gorgeous New England town.
After spending the day in Salem I headed back to the twin cities feeling a bit exhausted, but at the same time ripe with fresh inspiration and the feeling of connection with some fantastic new friends.

First off, there must be some rule about all bloggers being beautiful women. How fun to have the opportunity to meet everyone!
ReplyDeleteMoving on - I'd so love to visit Salem. Love your photos but I'd sure like to see more. Those three little pumpkins against the gray clapboard - sweet. That ship is so amazing - all that rigging against the blue sky! And the cool cemetery pics. I do love me an old cemetery.
Oh all the vendors' goods look SO amazing! And your table...SWOON!
ReplyDelete:-)

ReplyDeleteThe bizarre sounds like a total success and so much fun! I would love to go to Salem one day, what a good time you had.
ReplyDeleteI'm Jamie & Shannon's sister BTW, nice to meet you!
Who are you amazingly creative people!???? I am going thru all the links you talked about,(wonderful) and droolong with jealosy thinking about your recent trip. How can I find out where these places and sales are so that I can round up a group of like-minded friends and go exploring and shop???
ReplyDeleteI am SOO jealous, I bet you had a BLAST!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely time. I'd be interested to know (if you'd be willing to share) what items were "hot" on the East Coast & what was "hot" here in the Midwest at the junk Bonanza. I've found through my travels that trends are often geographical. Just thought it would be interesting to see if the same stuff was selling in the different places :)
ReplyDeleteI wish, wish, wish that I had known about this, I would have made a road trip up to Boston from New Jersey. So much crafty talent in one space. I have got to pay more attention from now on. We took our 3 kids up to Salem a few years ago and we had a great time. Some kids get to say that mom and dad took them to the local amusement park, mine like to tell people that we took them to see the witches. I will check to see what you have in your Etsy store.
ReplyDeleteJinkies!!! Too much eye candy!!! Your booth looked fabulous, as always!! What a fun weekend away! Can't wait to meet you-in just a few weeks! xo-Mel
ReplyDeleteYour booth/table/whatever looked fabulous!! You did a wonderful job. There hangs that beautiful banner with that horrid wallpaper that only YOU could make look good!I bet you adored Salem. Seems like a very interesting place and probably cool at Halloween.
