Today my parents and I ventured over to St. Paul for the "great Minnesota get together"...the state fair! Had to get my once-a-year fix of pronto pups, malted milk shakes and people watching! It was an overcast day, so the neon colors of the Midway were oh so vibrant!
The kids went on a carousel ride with Bobo for the first time. As you can see here, Chloe didn't know what to think when it started moving.
hey cutie, we miss the fair so much. i loved it. the cookies, the fries. porkchops on a stick, ok everything on a stick. it has to be the best fair in the land. oxoxo, jessi
The fair pictures are great! The fair here in Ga. is in October. There's is nothing else like the smells of all the different food! BTW....I love the topiary pictures!!! Sherry
Aren't the fairs such a wonderful time? Great memory makers! I have not been on the blogs much with lots of gardening this summer and much prep for teaching this Fall semester at UMass but it's great to be able to check in on you and yours! Carol in Mass.
Wonderful pix...nothing better than a day at the fair. We didn't go this year, Arney's surgery kinda got in the way. We have Art's in the park coming in a few days, we hope to go. Happy Summer, mary
i only got in two short trips to the fair this year. didn't even see the crop art. :( thanks for your photos of the midway, i skipped it this year and even though it's the same every year, it's good to be reminded of how awesome the 'art' is!!!
Great pictures, it looks like fun. I'm a huge fan of Prarie Home Companion, so I've wanted to make the trip from NY for years...someday! In the meantime, its great to see it, thanks for sharing.
