In an effort to keep everyone healthy and happy in the cold, grey north this time of year, things are pretty festive around here. How are you all doing? I thought I'd share some pages from my holiday journal. My decor this year is kind-of a retro woodland mix. Nothing fancy, just fun and whimsical for the kids...and adults:)
Hope all is well.
Finally went and got some perler beads after seeing all the fun things that Elsie has made with them in her holiday class. I made a cover for my New York album.
Hope all is well.
Love your journal! Simple and do-able, but lovely. Very inspiring to see :)
ReplyDeleteThe sun's just come out in our neck of the woods. I hear we'll get snow in a few days, but you never know!

ReplyDeleteYour trip to NYC looks fabulous. I am crazy about window displays and so happy to find your photos. What great inspiration. I haven't been to NYC in years, but most of my pics were of windows and my friends made so much fun of me. ha.

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late with replying to this, but i love the elf on top of the tree... I have been drawn to them since i was very young... I have the small green elf like your white one on my tree from my childhood.. wish i had more, but one will have to suffice
I think he is like the one on your tree... based on the pic in your book... but mine is a deep green... we had red ones too, can't recall if i have that one or not... may have been on my mom's tree... but it looks like yours has a stripe on the sleeves... mine do not.. i would say mine is from the very early 60's.
