Like the new banner? The wonderful Hope Wallace of Paper Relics made it for me. The wreath is hanging in our living room. I was totally inspired by Andrea's post to use what you have and see what you can make of it. I had these amazing vintage ornaments and bells that Fiona gifted to me when she visited last summer. Love how it all came together, so I thought I'd ask Hope to help me out with a festive banner. Of course she came through for me...she always does! Thanks, Hope.We went sledding for the first time this winter. As you can see, we don't have a whole lot of snow yet, but the kids loved it!
Their smiling faces reminded me of this fun vintage wrapping paper.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
I love that the kids reminded you of the fun vintage wrapping paper...they're so cute and look like they're having a great time! Thanks for bringing back some childhood memories!

It looks like you had a great time sledding. That was one of my favorite activities when I was growing up -- your vintage wrapping paper takes me back to that time. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteAs I write this, we are having our first snow, and it's a doozy!
at least you HAVE snow !!!
ReplyDeleteIn Belgium winter means cold and mostly rain...:(
IF it snows it's always "admiration" to what it does to the environment and means : taking a lot of photos...
Your christmas looks great : really you and really festive !
greetings
Inge
Wonderful banner! And What snow fun!~~~XXOO, Beth
ReplyDeleteYour new banner is spectacular and the wreath is really lovely. I discovered the idea on Andrea's blog also, but cheated a bit, buying a remnant of fake fur for under $5 (yes, I made a FUR wreath!)
ReplyDeleteI like the new banner. Lucky you having snow. We have no snow yet. I am wishing for some. I got my beautiful crepe paper in the mail yesterday. The colors and the texture are wonderful. Thank you so much, Kari
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreath - I love all the retro ornaments. Looks like a fun time sledding. Enjoy the snow - it was almost 80 here in TX today!

Awesome header Kari! I'm all for 'repurposing' my decorations. I've collected so many different ones over the years and I try to switch them up.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the look of glee on a child's face-love your photos!
Love your wreath...and your tree...and the anthro windows- thank you for sharing!xoxo
ReplyDeleteKari, you have the cutest children, their faces remind me of how much Christmas "wonder" I used to have! Maybe some of that will return if I can ever get my shopping done! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new header!!! I also think that wrapping paper was a perfect match to your outing in the snow!
