It's the last day of September, what a fabulous month it was! I was so pleased to be able to document each and every day of the month this year in Shimelle's class. I think it will continue on into October. This time of year for me is just bursting with creativity. We've been embracing orange over at A Year of Color all month long and Candice Carpenter is the guest designer for October. She's going to blow us all away with her black and white Halloween ideas. I can't wait! Today's color over here is orange. What a delight! I know orange isn't for everyone, but I for one, just can't get enough. Check out all the orange inspiration here. I've seen these gorgeous velvet pumpkins at several places this fall.
However, nothing beats the real thing.

See you in October!!

Oh, those velvet pumpkins! We have some of our own in the garden, and I can't wait to pick the ornamental gourds to make a big display at the front of our house. Thanks for your inspiring photos and see you in October!

Love the velvet pumpkins, I have been waiting for autumn to hit so I can indulge in the colors of the season. I am new to your blog and am enjoying reading some of the older posts. I will definately add you to my favorites.
