A different side of me...

I started a new blog tonight for my (other) life as a mom to my Autistic son. It's over at Stumbling Towards Normal. Should be an interesting journey.

I just checked out your new blog. I think it's a great outlet for you and a great way to document things for Lowell. (And get support from others dealing with the same thing.) I'm here cheering you guys on along your whole journey.

Cheering here, too. I have a Deaf daughter, age 6. It has been wonderful to meet and share with other moms who have children with special needs.

he is the cutest boy...i think that it's a great way to journal your journey with him. I have an autistic cousin so I kinda know what you'll be talking about.

Hello from Ontario. I just found your blog(s). I love your creative look at the world. It may just inspire me to do my own book of dreams as I had a dream the other night that was so strange that I had to immediately write it down to avoid losing it. From a quick look at your Dreambook participants, I did not see any names of men. Did I miss them or are there no male participants yet?

Re your autistic son, I worked with a boy with autism many, many years ago as a child care worker. He was one of the most interesting, but also disturbing, child that I ever came across. I wonder what he is doing now, some 30 years later. (He used to wake from frightening dreams in the middle of the night that we could not communicate about.)
