Centering...

With these frigid temps we've been having, my mind just can't decide if it likes the cold color palette of blue and white or the warm sweetness of bubblegum pink. So I have a little battle of the colors going on here on my studio dresser. The hearts and girly pinks of Valentine's Day are definitely starting to creep in. In the middle of it all, I have the gorgeous Buddha statue that Hope just gave me. I love it. It reminds me to slow down, take a breath and be mindful.I have the same dilemma in the living room, the Christmas wreath still up along with Valentine's goodies sneaking in here and there. Such are the dilemmas of a seasonal decorator. Hehe!

Have a great weekend!

LOVE the Buddha! And I always enjoy seeing your ever-changing dresser top. It's eye candy.

I love the pinks and reds of Valentine's Day. Keep the blue. It looks so pretty.

i just took down my christmas tree(s) 10 minutes ago..i was tempted to replace the ornaments w/ hearts and rename them the valentine's day trees.
we west indians are lazy creatures by nature, perhaps it's the hot weather...

I have the same thing going on.
Taking down Christmas is a lot less fun than putting it up.
I love the soft pinks and pastel blues together...but I think I'm biased :)

I am 100% bubble gum pink all year long but my new studio is tan, cream, and black...maybe that is why is just feels like a coat that doesn't fit. After CHA...I am breaking out the paint. wink,wink...Happy New Year! Kara
