Looking for spring....inside

It's wintery white outside today after a snowstorm last night (sigh). So we headed to the local garden store for their spring fling. Did you hear that mom and dad? You probably don't want to come home from sunny San Diego quite yet!:) We were temporarily soothed by the wonderfully bright flowers and fluffy baby animals. A little winter therapy.

Just a few days ago we did find the slightest bits of spring, like this bright green moss.
And some muskrat houses on the lake.
Patience....

Sweet sights :) I used to have a pet bunny wabbit named "Button" ("Bun" for short)

Regarding the snow, look at it this way: Spring can't be long now!

That would definitely help the spring fever! Love the animals, they're so sweet.

Those are awesome shots, girl. I just love the anticipation of Spring. Fortunately for me, we usually have spring year round living in AZ but I miss having regular seasons like you have. I could get a deeper anticipation as each one approached.

What a wonderful winter break! We have a couple of inches of snow from last night.. along with flood warnings until this afternoon... it would be fabulous to have a retreat from the weather like you have found!

Beautiful flowers. It helps alot to look at color like that. It won't be long now. I live in Minnesota too and the week looks lovely with temps in the mid-50's...yeah!!!
