September= nature guide

So begins our daily nature romps as we watch the seasons change from summer to fall. Now surrounded by goldrod and black eyed susan, soon the sumac red will begin to turn brilliant red. Apples are ripe and pumpkins are changing from green to orange in the fields. Autumn will unfold before our very eyes. Nature is surely our guide this time of year. We begin in one of our favorite places, where we pass through forest, marsh and prairie biomes all in one visit.

Hope you're running through someplace wonderful today!

What a beautiful place to walk! The photos are great.
I wish my grandchildren lived closer to me so we could go walking together....

Kari,
I so cannot wait for the sumac to turn brilliant red. It really is the most wonderful time, isn't it?
