The first snow...

Yep, we got some of the white stuff already and there's more on the way. It has been a cold week here in Minnesota barely in the 40's. This is what we woke up to Saturday morning. Chloe has her dance class in a building next to a beautiful garden that we walked around in and took in the first powder of the season.
Of course the kids were thrilled. Here's Chloe walking around the labyrinth path in full winter gear.
This little guy was happy to find a stash of food in the autumn decor they had around the garden.
This picture depicts how strange it is to have snow this early. The trees are still full of green leaves.
Does this mean we could have another storm like the Halloween blizzard of 1991?
Not much you can do, but enjoy it!

YIKES! I do recall snowflakes on my ghost in a few Halloweens past! That snow is making me jump forward to Christmas!

Snow is not big feature of life here in the UK - but there is a distinct autumnal chill this morning! Not as pretty as a dusting of snow, though!

I have seen the snow only once in my life. Your photos are beautiful, especially the one of Chloe walking around the labyrinth.
Do you usually have snow this early

Such beautiful pictures!! Isn't it amazing how quickly the weather changes once you get closer to November? Our trees are just starting to look a little autumnal and the nites are definitely getting colder. I just love this time of the year. Even the snow doesn't bother me but I think that's a way off for us still. You never know!! : )
