Wishes do come true...

I was so honored when Mindy from wishstudio blog asked me at the beginning of this year to write a piece about creativity and motherhood. This is a topic I feel very passionate about. When I sat down to write, I found that I had a lot to say and I couldn't stop writing. I feel that I'm at a very joyful time in my life and I am so pleased to be able to share my story. So click on over to the wishstudio blog for my piece if you'd like to read more about how artsymama came to be. Hope you enjoy it!
We had a wonderful snowy weekend here, filled with sledding, baking cookies and santa.
Doesn't get much better than that!

Thank you for sharing! I try very much to encourage creativity in my children. While my daughter and I were working on mason jar snowmen to line our stairway a friend of hers was over after school helping us. Her friend said to me how she loved that we were always doing "crafty" things together and she spoke of how she wished her mother would do those type of activities with her. Being that both girls are fourteen and at an age where they are learning about their identies I was very appreciative of the fact that she has witnessed and recognized the bond that can be formed with your children through establishing a creative outlet with them.

Your piece on the wishstudio blog is beautifully written. Creative activities are a must for my daughters and me and you captured the essence and necessity of that in your writing.
