summer home...

Wouldn't this make a nice summer home? No, it's not mine. It's a house that was in a neighborhood where Chloe and I went to an estate sale today. I could take pictures since it's on the market. I just thought that it looked like it could become animated at any moment. Those droopy eyelids, it looks like it must have something to say. Ok, maybe the heat is getting to me. It certainly does have character and....charm, huh?!? Here's the cover of my summer art journal that I finally got started on for Kara's class. I loaded it up with goodies from my May Basket swap from Kerry Lynn Yeary. Such yummy summer colors! Have you begun any fun summer projects?

Love the house. It looks like the kind that would have a comfy couch you could curl up in with a book & some iced tea for a lazy afternoon.

Projects? Well, I have a quilt that I need to put the binding on - but I am nervous...I want to make it scalloped & I have never done one before! So, I keep putting it off...

Those droopy eyelids - what a fun way to describe that house. I can just see it in some animated kids movie.
