Dear Mary....

I found this sweet little autograph book at an estate sale last week. It says it was Mary's from when she was 15 years old received in 1925. I enjoyed paging through the quirky little words of advice from friends and family. I thought you might like to take a look.

Zoo day....

We enjoyed a wonderful day at the Minnesota Zoo last weekend. We hadn't been there in a few years. The weather was perfect! I forgot to put my memory card in my camera, so luckily Chloe was on the ball with her camera and captured the day from her perspective.

A perfect summer day...

With weather that was nothing short of perfect today, the kids and I ventured to our "happy place" at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. It was just about this time last year that we found our favorite nature playground hidden under an old oak tree in a hidden corner of this beautiful landscape.

After awhile at in this magical setting, we ventured on to other areas, observing many flowers in bloom and butterflies abound under a crystal blue sky.

We just can't get enough of it here.
