Journaling through the holidays...

I haven't shared my Christmas Journal pages for a bit, so here are a few more. I find that starting with a magazine or catalog image with the "mood" that I'm in really inspires my page when doing a daily journal like this. It really loosens me up and lets my creativity flow.

In other festive news, all the gifts arrived for the 12 Days of Christmas swap I'm in with the most amazing ladies! Heather hosted this wonderful swap and I will begin opening a gift per day on the 14th, one week from today. The gifts look so happy under my tree:) Speaking of Heather, she is working on a special unveiling for this very ArtsyMama blog for my 500th post, which is only two posts away!! Stay tuned for that and other fun festivities... Speaking of gifties, the new December Anthropologie catalog is a gift in itself. Gorgeous.
Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I love the all Anthropologie catalogs and always save them. The beautiful old building that Anthropolgie is in, in Philadelphia is especially lovely too. Wish that I had taken pictures the last time that I was there. Thanks for the gorgeous pictures to start off our day!

  2. I save all my Anthro catalogs too and my J Pereman ones as well. I am loving that hairpiece on the cover. My teenage girls and I fight over who gets to browse first.

I also love the journal page using the plates as "mats" around the pictures -- fun.

    Have a wonderful day.
