Silver Bella scrapbook

I know, I know, *enough* about Silver Bella already. This will be my last post about it, I promise:) It obviously was an amazing weekend for me, so I wanted to share my keepsake book where I can re-live the weekend over and over again:) I made a blank journal out of Basic Grey fruitcake papers (yummy!) before I left. I also did the *relax* page below the night before to try to channel some of my excitement. When I got there I had the fabulous teachers and other artists I met sign it. I took lots of pictures, which I shared here. I also tried to keep all the little tidbits of scrap paper, glitter, and ephemera from the weekend, because I knew I'd want to use it. So I put it all together today and here ya go...my little momento of my BiG weekend in Omaha. Enjoy! I know I will for years to come. *The poem is by Jill...and it's adorable:)

Chloe is enjoying looking at it too:)I also wanted to share that the fabulous Teresa McFayden posted a tutorial on her blog for the fun calendar I made and posted about the other day. Give it a try! Also, another source for some glitter letters is Glitterz (below) by Teresa Collins for Junkitz. You can probably find them on ebay.

Kari, you can NEVER share enough Bella...I am so jealous! This is a great little keepsake..I think I am going to make one of my own for Artiscape in May (can't wait!). Where did the hysterically cute poem come from...was that your doing or part of the whole Bella thing Teresa had going?

Your keepsake book is fabulous! If I ever get to do something like that, I just hope I can be as prepared as you were.

I love your book, esp how you mixed the vintage & the modern elements. Fun, fun, fun. The page with the photo of your blinged-up ballet slippers is too cute. :) Looks like such a great weekend! Who says you have to stop posting about it anyway?

Thank you so much for posting your art journal from Silver Bella! It was like a mini-vacation for me as I looked at it! And I for one could listen to tales of Silver Bella every day. There is nothing like getting together with a group of like-minded people and creating. It really makes your soul sing!!! Thanks for sharing! Your journal is so top notch!!!

Fabulous journal Kari! I love all the little details you put in there, and those yummy colors in the paper brought out the best and brightest colors in your photos, what an amazing piece of Bella Goodness you created!!!! I think there should be a Bella Journal online class the week before the big event taught by ArtsyMama for next year!!!!!
