13 Days of Halloween:11 {Party Hats}

In looking at my Halloween decorations, I realized that almost every single decoration had either a party hat or witch's hat on their head. There definitely seems to be a party hat "thing" right now. Especially vintage style. I love it! Candice even has subscription kits for making party hats! In getting ready for my Autumn Gathering blog party in a few days, I thought I'd share some of my newly acquired fabulous party hats in the Dept. 56 Glitterville collection. I bought these last spring at a Cancer Society fundraiser with all items donated by Dept. 56. I was in heaven!

This sweet and sinister hat was made for me last year by the lovely Cerri of Little Pink Studio.
I'd love to see your Halloween party hats!
If you need a pattern, you can find one here with basic instructions.
Party on!

Hi :)
I am looking forward to participating in your Autumn Gathering on THursday!!!
I am working but will post before I head off in the morning :)
And by the way...your hats are amazing!! I too, have TONS of "party" animals around my house and I find I am always making little party hats and crowns for those that don't come with them...there is just something so whimsical about the "party hat" ...I try to live my life with an invisible party hat on my head :)
~ Loving the 13 days...

downloaded the hats in my i-photo bib... A lot of ideas to print out and add in my halloweenbook again....

I wish I hadn't go to work tomorrow, but duty calls...

As Halloween is not so common here in Belgium, I still have not so much stuff.

I've seen so many things i can make for Halloween to decorate with in the future, that I need TIME to make it all...

The hats are really, really beautiful and tickle to try to make some myself...

greetings
Inge

PS I participate in you autumngathering ! First I thought I finally could reveal the package I sended to my swappartner, but today came a big box from her filled with some awesome selfmade stuff... A lot of photos to show ... I let you know when I posted, so you can add me to your "partylist".

Kari, Thank you so very much sweet friend for the lovely and oh so thoughtful gift that arrived at my door a few days ago. I love it and will treasure it as a dear reminder of these sweet baby days. I miss you guys and the art/blog world so much. Feeling quite out of touch these days, but your gesture really made me smile. Have a ball in Omaha! Your Halloween decor looks fab...those glitter hats remind me of Alice in Wonderland meets Tim Burton. xoxo kimla

Well, I apparently am going to comment every day. But I had to come back and tell you that this idea was so cool that I went home and we started making hats last night. It was so fun! It's amazing how many ideas you get once you start in on them.
Thanks!

Now I am going to go check out the banners. We'll probably be doing those tonight...
