Seasonal notes...

My kids love nothing more than a romp in the woods as a new season emerges. Here exemplifies the contrast of beginnings and endings. The new leaves of spring and the glorious golds of autumn. I wanted to remind everyone who is participating in A Year of Color blog that we are currently having a check-in giveaway. If for some reason you have not been able to access the blog after buying a subsription, please email me at artsy_mama@hotmail.com.

I am excited to announce that the new book Collaborative Art Journals by LK Ludwig is now available. The Spring Secrets round robin coordinated by Julie Collings that I was a part of with some amazing artists is represented in the book. Very exciting!!

Happy Wednesday!

I love the changing of the leaves 'guard'. DH took the girls out this weekend by the lake and all the teen took pics of was the trees flanking the lane and beside the lake. Spring is definitely here. Love your pics.

These wonderful pics makes me think...With all the art I make and teach I have so totally lost track of my scrapbooking. Perhaps this summer I will get started again. With all the new fun ways to copy photons for gel transfers and other mixed media ideas it should bring out some neat pages. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi, just wanted to say how much I love visiting your blog, which I've been doing for a while now; must apologise for my atrocious manners at not having posted a comment earlier!! Great to see what springtime looks like on the other side of the pond, thanks.

Now I really have to make some scrapbook pages, feels almost like a challenge and I love those. I will post some pictures of gel transfers and other fun new ways to scrap. Thanks for commenting on my blog.

These are beautiful photos! They remind me of the woods I would hike in growing up in Illinois. I now live in CO and I miss all the trees. I found your site on the Silver Bella group. I look forward to reading more.
