I found this wonderful vintage paint book from 1930 at an estate sale this weekend. I wanted to share with you the charming illustrations. Not all the pages are photographed, so the story is choppy. It's about a little girl going on a hunt for her missing puppy. I thought you'd enjoy the vintage beauty.

Unbelievable how high it is!!
Touching: I am moved by so many
Smelling: Lots of sugar and sweetness from the kids Valentine's parties at school.
Lots of lovely things going on around here this time of year. Similar to

All this "memory keeping" that I do, hoping to tell the stories of our family and our daily lives. This afternoon, on their own, the kids got out some srapbooks and start pouring over the pages. Then Lowell got out his own camera and carefully took pictures of each page in one of the books. Can't imagine where he learned that from?! They sure did make me feel good.

I went to an estate sale yesterday and found some fun cheery things to brighten up the house.
These wonderful hand embroidered butterfly placemats. Each done with such care, a set of eight.
Lovely painted old wooden spoons from Mexico.
And the happiest sheets in the world. Seriously, look at the colors on these. The most lovely spring palette!
Happy Weekend!
Seeing: Lots and lots of white and grey. It's quite snowy out there.

I'm having fun with my vintage typewriter for my journaling.
